At Pezhvak Performing Arts Club, we believe in the transformative power of performing arts. Our mission is to increase resiliency in our communities in Canada by fostering creativity, collaboration, and cultural expression.
A note from Artistic Director
From engineering to filmmaking and theatre, from Rock climbing to just walking, from being single to being a working mom, what I have experienced through years of life is:
Know yourself better and enjoy, be kind and help.
Pezhvak club is our home in diaspora specially for those who cannot go back to their homeland, to be ourselves and communicate and heal through performing arts for a more resilient community.
And to tell our stories so that our children bond with their heritage better and also establish our own traditions and culture, as Iranian Canadians.
Cannot wait to see you and drink a tea / coffee / beer with you! (My favourite is bubble tea).
